Showtime B won the East region of BBL Group B

Showtime B won the East region title at BBL B group. In the final series, the team achieved two convincing victories against the team of MU Varna in the hall of The University of Economics in the Sea Capital.

Showtime B won the first meeting 98:75 after leading almost the whole time.

It was the basis of success Milen Cholakov with an impressive double-double of 18 points and 21 rebounds, 8 of which were offensive. For the opponent Sean Daamen finished with 18 points and 7 rebounds.

In the rematch Showtime B beat his rival 86:76. The team was behind for almost the entire first quarter, but at the end of it, it made a turnaround and did not lose its lead until the end.

Alexander Ivanov led the winners with 34 points and 7 rebounds, Simeon Varchev has 14 points and 7 rebounds, and a triple-double of 13 points, 15 rebounds and 10 assists made Milen Cholakov, which also has 6 errors.

One quarter made it to Showtime in the East semifinals

The team of Showtime recorded first playoff win since BBL A group East region. The team won over Shumen A after 93:67 in a match played at the University of Economics, Varna.

Already in the first quarter, the basketball players of K Iril Petrov secured a solid double-digit lead, which they managed to keep until the break. After resuming the game Shumen A came back with renewed strength and won the period with 32:26, but it was not enough to get close to the opponent. So in the closing period Showtime withstood the pressure of the opponent to celebrate the victory.

It was the most effective for success Justin Sutton, who scored 20 points and added 7 rebounds and 4 assists. It's double-double Krasimir Dimitrov – 17 points and 10 rebounds, 14 points Rostislav Alexov, 11 goals Veselin Georgiev, with 10 is Simeon Varchev.

The captain Plamen Ruskov was best for Shumen A with 17 points and 8 rebounds, scored 10 each Nikola Lubenov and Stanislav Bankov (6 rebounds and 5 assists).
