Vidabasket stopped Dunav's successful streak

Vidabasket stopped the successful streak of Danube Ruse 2016, beating him 72:58 in a meeting from the Center region of BBL A group, played in Gorna Oryahovitsa.

Despite the defeat, however, Danube remains the leader with a balance of 9-3. So they are on the verge of victory over Nikolay Kolev's team. The game was the last for both teams of the regular season.

The difference became 24 in the final quarter and although the basketball players of Ruslan Rusev they melted down some of their liabilities, it was already too big to turn around.

BULGARIAN BASKETBALL LEAGUE (BBL) is a national basketball league established in 2016. FROM 2020. In recent years, the League has become one of the largest team championships in Bulgaria.

BBL A group, and from 2022 and B group are included as official state championships to the Bulgarian Basketball Federation. Thus, basketball in Bulgaria acquired a complete pyramidal structure. The league is structured and takes place on a regional tournament basis in four regions - West, South, East and Center.

Incredible drama sends Mix to the quarterfinals

Amazing drama sent Mix in the quarterfinals in the tournament for The BBL Cup. IN Druzhba hall in Haskovo the team eliminated Vidabasket with 81:79 after an impactful third part, in which he made up for a 20-point deficit, and in the last second of the match, his opponent missed a three-pointer.

A series of twists and turns marked the beginning of the match, but Nikolay Kolev's basketball players had a slight advantage in the first part and at the end of it they led with 19:15. They took advantage of the many lapses by their opponent, who shot just 27% from the field in the first half, and took a 45-27 lead at the break.

Mix however, he came out transformed after the break and after a 24:3 run, he achieved a complete turnaround. The team realized an impressive 39 points in this part alone and even pulled out with a double-digit lead, and the final period began at 66:57 in its favor. Teddy Bukov's basketball players maintained a comfortable lead for a long time after that, but Vidabasket didn't give up and cut the lead to just 2 with 25 seconds left. The team also got a chance to win the match after Victor Germanov missed two penalty kicks at the very end, as Julian Tsvetanov tried a three with the siren, the ball touched the ring, but did not want to go in.

Ivan Iliev led the way for the winners with 21 points and 8 rebounds, but did not play in the final four minutes due to technical and unsportsmanlike fouls received during the game. They scored 14 points each Victor Germanov and Lubomir Nedkov, with 12 is Pavel Teofilov, 11 there are Borislav Nikolov.

For Vidabasket, which was a six-man rotation, Julian Tsvetanov tallied 21 points and 7 rebounds, Philip Emilov has 17 points, Nikola Emilov is with 16, 12 has Kaloyan Dimitrov, and with 9 and 15 fights it is Theodore Kirov.
