Danube is the first finalist in the Center region of BBL A group in this season. The team achieved a difficult victory as a guest of Chardafon in Gabrovo with 65:60 and with a total score of 2-0 closed the series in their favor.
The other team to contend for the gold will be the winner of the semi-final Rye – Vidabasket, where the first match was won by the team of Lachezar Dikov.
The entire first half was very contested, with the two teams exchanging the lead several times. The hosts had a slight advantage, but the margin in their favor never exceeded 7, and at the break they pulled away at 40:34 in their favor after a total of 25 points on Rostislav Tonchev and Antonio Stankov.
For a long time after the game resumed, the game went basket after basket. The basketball players of Ruslan Rusev however, they played a strong final minutes of the part and before the final period turned for 51:50. Performance continued to be very low in the remaining time, but Danube took advantage of several points and did not let go of his lead until the end.
They scored 15 points each for the winners Teodor Trifonov (10 fights) and Nikolay Nikolov, and scored 12 points and 8 rebounds Kaloyan Stoyanov.

BULGARIAN BASKETBALL LEAGUE (BBL) is a national basketball league established in 2016. FROM 2020. In recent years, the League has become one of the largest team championships in Bulgaria.
BBL A group, and from 2022 and B group are included as official state championships to the Bulgarian Basketball Federation. Thus, basketball in Bulgaria acquired a complete pyramidal structure. The league is structured and takes place on a regional tournament basis in four regions - West, South, East and Center.
