Polytechnic Dupnitsa prevailed over the team of Sportsist 1959 Svoge

Yesterday, in the "Triaditsa" hall, Politekhnika Dupnitsa prevailed over the Sportsist 1959 Svoge team in a tense and dynamic match of the season in BBL A West.

The team led by Ivaylo Konstantinov prevailed 81-75, showing excellent play in the first two periods, ending the first quarter with a score of 30-15 and the second with a score of 19-11. However, the 1959 Athlete did not give up and managed to make up a significant portion of the gap in the third quarter with a score of 26-16.

Despite the efforts of the Svoge team, Polytechnic managed to maintain their lead and finish the match as winners.

Standout players for the win were Ivaylo Konstantinov with 13 points and 10 rebounds, Omar El-Ayoubi with 11 rebounds and Martin Petrov with 11 points.

On the other side, Dragomir Pavlov was the top scorer for "Sportist 1959" with 25 points, followed by Danail Hristov with 17 points and 15 rebounds.

The match was filled with a lot of emotions and dynamics, with both teams showing excellent skills on the field. However, Dupničani showed a stronger game and won the match.

Polytechnic scored 120 for their most convincing win in BBL Group A

Polytechnic recorded his highest scoring win of the season in the BBL A group. In a match played today in the capital "Overgaz Arena", the team won Voltron with 120:70.

After this match, the winners remain in sixth position in the provisional standings with a balance of 12-8, while their opponent is last with 21 losses and no success in the season.

After exchanging baskets at the start, the basketball players of Ivaylo Konstantinov made a strong run and after ten minutes of play they pulled away with 36:19. They continued to score high in the second period and after a 79% success rate of two points in the first half, they took a 62-31 lead at the break.

The situation did not change after the break. Polytechnic continued to control the development of the match, keeping its high percentage, and before the last part was ahead with 91:44. The margin jumped to 51 in the remaining time, and the team had no problem winning convincingly.

Radoslav Kolev led the way for the winners with 33 points and 15 rebounds, 13 of which were offensive. Orlin Atanasov has 21 points, 20 has Martin Petrov.

For the opponent, who also had a shorter rotation in the match, Tomislav Petkov realized 16 points, with 15 is Zhivko Zhelev, and added 13 and 8 rebounds Boris Voikov.

BULGARIAN BASKETBALL LEAGUE (BBL) is a national basketball league established in 2016. FROM 2020. In recent years, the League has become one of the largest team championships in Bulgaria.

BBL A group, and from 2022 and B group are included as official state championships to the Bulgarian Basketball Federation. Thus, basketball in Bulgaria acquired a complete pyramidal structure. The league is structured and takes place on a regional tournament basis in four regions - West, South, East and Center.

Plovdiv Mambas recorded their seventh victory

Plovdiv Mambas recorded his seventh victory in a meeting against the team of 3.6.9. Basketball in A group of BBL Region South. Borislav Svetoslavov's competitors won the first three periods, which were enough for the team to congratulate themselves on success.

Alex Mollov was above everyone for the success with a double-double – 20 points and 18 rebounds. Mikhail Krastev has 14 points and 9 rebounds, with 11 f Dimitri Darakchiev.

For 3.6.9. they recorded a double-double Robert Radev (17 points and 13 rebounds) and Asen Popov (13 points and 15 rebounds), Hristo Georgiev recorded 11 points, with 10 f David Baruch.
