Phoenix is the new women's BBL champion

Women's BBL has a new champion! Phoenix won the trophy after in an extremely dramatic final in Triaditsa Hall overcome Sharks with 62:56.

After a relatively even first ten minutes Sharks took a slight lead at 19:16. Gradually, however, the difference in favor of the team continued to grow and after it was 9 at the break, shortly after the start of the second half, it jumped to 16. However, Phoenix did not give up and after a strong run, before the final quarter, it returned to the game - 44:49 . The team also made a complete turnaround at the beginning of the last part and after only 7 points from their opponent in it, won the match and with it the title.

Maria Delcheva was the most productive for the winners with 26 points and 7 rebounds. Anna-Slavina Slavcheva has 12 points and 8 rebounds, and with 8 points and 12 rebounds it is accounted for Mina Vasileva passed.

For Sharks Zornitsa Naydenova scored 14 points, added 10 each Sonya Filipova and Iveta Andreeva.

Bronze medals went to last year's champion Lyons, who won in the small final KIM with 71:65.
