Polytechnic recorded a convincing victory as a guest on Spartak Sandanski with 93:70 in a postponed game from the West region on BBL A group.

The basketball players of Ivaylo Konstantinov took the initiative in the opening minutes and twice led by double digits in the first half, and at the end they were ahead with 39:28. The key turned out to be a strong third quarter for them, in which they scored 35 points to only 9 for their opponent and broke away with 74:37. Yanko Yanchev's young team still won the last part, convincingly, but without being able to change the final outcome.

Radoslav Kolev was the most productive for the winners with 16 points, 15 each Jordan Georgiev and Martin Petrov (8 fights). Stefan Georgiev has 14 and 8 rebounds. Omar El-Ayoubi has 11 points and 11 rebounds, a Orlin Atanasov tallied 10 points and 12 rebounds.

For Spartacus Ivan Dimitrov has 17 points and 7 rebounds. Vladimir Marinov has 12 points, 10 added Hristo Todorov.

Spartak Sandanski recorded its third victory

Spartak Sandanski recorded his third win of the season in West region, after in an extremely dramatic match overcame the last and still unsuccessful team of Voltron with 85:83. The match took place in Triaditsa Hall in Sofia.

The match began with a series of twists and turns, gradually the capital team took a slight advantage and after ten minutes of play was ahead with 25:22. Another series of lead exchanges marked the start of the second period. Before the break, Yanko Yanchev's players took the initiative and led with 52:43.

The rise in the game of Spartacus continued after the break, with his lead reaching 14 points, but before the final quarter Voltron played out and reduced to 70:74. The drama continued in the remaining time, when the hosts managed to take the lead, but the difference in favor of either team never exceeded 4 points. 20 seconds before the end accurate penalty kicks on Stoyan Kainarov they restored the tie again - 83:83. By all accounts, it looked like the game was headed for overtime. With 3 seconds on the clock Nikola Kolov was fouled and led the team from Sandanski ahead with 85:83. Boris Voikov attempted a 3-pointer with the siren in an attempt to win the game, but his shot was not accurate.

Hristo Todorov scored 18 points for the winners. With 16 and 8 assists Nikola Kolov, a Ivan Dimitrov has 14 points and 7 rebounds.

For Voltron Stoyan Kainarov was above everyone with 26 points, 11 rebounds and 7 assists. Boris Voikov scored 17 points. Maxim Lezginov is counted with 11, and with 10 is Dimitar Lubenov.
