A successful start to the playoffs for Athlete

Miner 2015 ended the regular season in the West Region with win #20 BBL A group. In their last match, the team, which had long since secured the first place in the standings, won Levski Sofia 2022 with 93:88 in the capital hall "Triad".

The winners finish with a 20-2 record, while their opponent is 10-12, and the two squads could also meet in the playoffs if Enigma won against Voltron on Sunday and so on Levski Sofia 2022 eighth.

The capital team led almost throughout the first quarter, and at the end of it was ahead with 24:21. He scored 8 three-pointers in the first half alone, but also made more fouls than his opponent, and also did not take a single penalty shot against 13 scored for his opponent. Already at the beginning of the second half, the team from Pernik made a complete turnaround and at the break pulled back with 48:46 in their favor.

After several lead exchanges at the start of the second half, the visitors took the initiative. They scored 5 three-pointers in the third quarter alone - as many as they had before it, and after the end they pulled away with 76:63. The difference jumped to 16, but the hosts did not give up and erased a large part of their deficit in the remaining time, which, however, was not enough for a complete turnaround.

George Damyanov was the most productive for the success with 23 points (4 triples). Georgi Burzakov has 21 (4 triples), with 16 is Nikolai Ivanov, and he has 13 and 8 assists Milen Dudev.

For Levski Sofia 2022 he was above all Achilles Zikas with 25 points (7 triples). Christian Georgiev scored 17 points, with 15 and 7 rebounds Martin Dimitrov, and 14 and 7 rebounds, but also 6 errors recorded Daniel Zapryanov.
