Heber began its participation in the semifinals in the South region with a victory BBL A group. In Aytos, the team beat the local team Whirlwind with 83:67.

The entire first quarter was marked by very low performance, and after its end, the basketball players of Decho Koeshinov they had a slight advantage – 16:14. In the second period, however, the team from Pazardzhik took the initiative and at the break pulled ahead with 41:30.

Heber maintained a double-digit difference after the break, and before the final quarter it increased to 66:46. The team's lead jumped to 23 in the remaining time and although Whirlwind erased part of it, it was too big for anything more.

Berk Mehmed was top scorer for the winners with 26 points. Hristo Buckkov recorded 20 and 19 rebounds, with 12 f Nikolai Ninov.

For the opponent Stoyan Milchev realize 25 points, Stoyan Petkov has 21 and 18 rebounds, and he also had a double-double Konstantin Koev – 12 points and 10 rebounds.

BULGARIAN BASKETBALL LEAGUE (BBL) is a national basketball league established in 2016. FROM 2020. In recent years, the League has become one of the largest team championships in Bulgaria.

BBL A group, and from 2022 and B group are included as official state championships to the Bulgarian Basketball Federation. Thus, basketball in Bulgaria acquired a complete pyramidal structure. The league is structured and takes place on a regional tournament basis in four regions - West, South, East and Center.
