Black Sea Ticha A inflicted its first loss on its city rival Showtime in the eastern region of BBL A group. In a postponed game of the sixth round of the regular season, the young "sailors" won the first three parts and held off a late run by their opponent to prevail 84-82. They are currently 7-5, tied with Shumen A in the third place, a Showtime remains atop the standings at 11-1. The next round will be played on March 5, Sunday.

Since the first attacks Black Sea he had a small lead and was unable to break away for a long time. It was only in the middle of the second part that the difference became double digits for the first time, and at the break it was 7 points at 47:40.

The Mariners continued to lead after play resumed, maintaining a good 9-point lead heading into the final half. With three minutes to go, they led 80:69, but a 10:2 run in just two minutes brought back the intrigue. Milen Cholakov narrowed the gap to just three points with 45 seconds left, and the teams missed on their final drives and the victory remained Black Sea .

Martin Todorov recorded 25 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. He added a double-double of 17 points plus 12 rebounds and 6 assists Christian Popov. Lubomir Keremedchiev finished with 14 points, 10 rebounds and 5 assists.

For Showtime was the top scorer with 21 points Krasimir Dimitrov, who added 7 rebounds and assists each. Alexander Ivanov registered a double-double of 19 points and 10 rebounds.

BULGARIAN BASKETBALL LEAGUE (BBL) is a national basketball league established in 2016. FROM 2020. In recent years, the League has become one of the largest team championships in Bulgaria.

BBL A group, and from 2022 and B group are included as official state championships to the Bulgarian Basketball Federation. Thus, basketball in Bulgaria acquired a complete pyramidal structure. The league is structured and takes place on a regional tournament basis in four regions - West, South, East and Center.
