Sportsman Svoge qualified for the quarterfinals in the tournament for The BBL Cup. In the last match of the day in the Druzhba hall in Haskovo, the team won Chardafon with 86:74 and in the next stage will meet the winner of the meeting between Directioner and Haskovo.
After exchanging baskets at the start, Emil Goranov's basketball players took the initiative and, after ten minutes of play, led with 22:14. They had an advantage in the basket, made fewer mistakes, and after briefly pulling away by 18 points, pulled away at the break with a 46-32 advantage.
The difference jumped to 20 after the break, but there was an upswing in the game of Chardafon, which reduced to only 5, and before the last part was trailing by 57:64. At the start of the final quarter, however Sportsman Svoge once again made the lead double-digit, and although the game continued relatively evenly, the team had no problem holding onto their lead and winning.
The winners were without one of their leaders Boris Matrakov, a Damian Stoyanov was above everyone for the success with 28 points and 9 rebounds. Gerasim Nikolov recorded 15 points, with 12 and 11 rebounds Ivan Tsenov, a Ivan Pavlov added 11 points.
For Antonio Stankov's team Rostislav Tonchev scored 20 points, Borimir Alexiev there are 19 Manol Tonchev is with 14, and with 10 and 8 rebounds Andrean Dekov.

BULGARIAN BASKETBALL LEAGUE (BBL) is a national basketball league established in 2016. FROM 2020. In recent years, the League has become one of the largest team championships in Bulgaria.
BBL A group, and from 2022 and B group are included as official state championships to the Bulgarian Basketball Federation. Thus, basketball in Bulgaria acquired a complete pyramidal structure. The league is structured and takes place on a regional tournament basis in four regions - West, South, East and Center.
