Enigma Fireworks surprise The Fab Five with 79:74 in the only game from the West region on BBL A group, played today. The match took place in "Overgaz Arena" in Sofia.

The two teams exchanged one piece each in the first half. After a series of turnovers in the beginning, the basketball players in black and white teams led 23:17 after ten minutes of play, but a very strong second quarter gave their opponent an advantage at the break - 40:33 after 18 points until Kiril Raikov.

Enigma took a double-digit lead after the break, and led 59:51 before the decisive quarter. The gap jumped to 15 with time remaining, and although the Fab Five nearly erased it at the end, another breakthrough was not forthcoming.

Kiril Raikov recorded 31 points and 10 rebounds for the winners, playing without a turnover. Hristo Nikolov scored 27 points, 9 rebounds and 7 assists, a Ivo Slavchev has 10 points and 9 rebounds.

For the opponent Georgi Hristov scored 15 points, with 13 f Denis Petkov, they have 12 each Georgi Krastev (8 tackles) and Stefan Yanev.

Bulgarian Basketball League BBL is a national basketball league established in 2016. FROM 2020. In recent years, the League has become one of the largest team championships in Bulgaria.

BBL A group, and from 2022 and B group are included as official state championships to the Bulgarian Basketball Federation. Thus, basketball in Bulgaria acquired a complete pyramidal structure. The league is structured and takes place on a regional tournament basis in four regions - West, South, East and Center.
